Sharing some highlights of a successful day of collaboration, fun and teamwork among ReadyTechers from the Design, Product and Technology Teams in 3 countries (Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam). Innovation is important to ReadyTech and our annual virtual innovation day is an opportunity to bring together tech-minded types into one (often sugar and coffee-fuelled) location albeit remote to work in close-knit, competitive groups over laptop and mobile screens for a whole day to hash out breakthrough tech solutions.
This year’s teams were composed of:
Please watch the highlight of the day’s activities
The rules were simple: The teams can work on any customer-related problem in the payroll and workforce management area and are free to use any tools and technology they like.
The judging panel composed of:
- CEO, Marc Washbourne
- CIO, Sam Giffney
- Workforce Solutions Chief Executive, Daniel Wyner
- Workforce Solutions Head of Technology, Alojz Kiseli
The judging panel based their assessment on the following criteria:
- Degree of technical difficulty
- Impressiveness or “Wow” factor
- Innovation – can you go above and beyond?
The judging panel were definitely spoilt for choice making it very difficult to select the winner.
ANNOUNCING THE WINNING TEAM
We are pleased to announce (drum roll, please!) that this year’s winning team is: Team DigiDocs!
The team came up with a very innovative solution for the age old problem of how to import information captured using traditional means (ie. pen and paper), whilst ensuring accuracy and timeliness of the processing of the data.

Bonus points were also up for grabs and were judged on capturing ‘action day’ activities. The best submission went to The A Team. Congratulations!
It was great to see all the teams get together to focus on genuine customer problems and collaborate so effectively in coming up with a scalable, cloud first solution.
Well done to everyone involved!
